A lightweight quilted vest with a two-way zipper and double back vents, cut to be ridden in.

Two details on this vest exist because of the saddle. The zipper is two-way, so it opens from the bottom and the vest sits over the thigh instead of pulling across the hip when mounted. The back is double vented for the same reason. Beyond that it is a light quilted insulation, warm through the core without the bulk that stops an arm moving forward, and the outer fabric is finished to shed dirt, hair and barn dust rather than hold them.

Fit:

Sizes SM to XL. There is no XS in this vest, so a rider who takes an XS should size carefully. It is cut to layer, so it goes over a long sleeve without binding at the shoulder.

Both colors carry a print lining.

Dark Bay is lined in a coral bits print and Black in a pink horses print. There is no plain-lined option. That is worth knowing if you wanted something entirely neutral.

Why it is here:

A two-way zipper. A one-way zipper means unzipping the whole vest to sit down in a saddle, and the two-way opens from the bottom so the vest sits over the thigh.
