A fully perforated jumper pad built on a 3D mesh core, in vegan suede, made in Canada.

Perforation is the whole design and it goes right through. The exterior is a vegan suede punched throughout rather than quilted, and underneath it sits a high-density 3D mesh core, which is a spacer fabric with open structure rather than a foam or a wadding. Air moves through the pad instead of stopping at the first layer. The lining is a quick-dry mesh. Down the middle, the Anatomeq spine channel lifts the pad clear of the withers and is shaped to the contour of the back, with soft microsuede on both sides of the spine and along the binding where a pad rubs. The construction is close contact, so it does not change how a saddle sits.

What sets this one apart:

Perforated right through, a vegan suede exterior punched throughout rather than quilted over a high-density 3D mesh core, so air moves through the pad instead of stopping at the first layer. The spine channel lifts the pad clear of the withers and is shaped to the contour of the back, with soft microsuede on both sides of the spine and along the binding. It is cut close contact, lined in quick-dry mesh, and offered with or without billet loops.

What AnatomEq claims:

AnatomEq states that a horse will sweat less in these pads than in a traditional quilted pad. That is the maker's comparison, reported as theirs.

Why it is here:

A core that is open rather than solid. The 3D mesh is a spacer fabric, so air moves through the pad rather than stopping under the perforated outer layer.
