A rechargeable microcurrent unit that straps to a horse's leg, sold as a complete kit.
The device runs four automated programs, selected with two buttons, over a three-hour treatment period, and is powered by a rechargeable high-capacity battery. It attaches with a leg strap and a fabric liner, and delivers through a pair of carbon rubber electrode pads used with a conductive gel. It is drug-free and non-invasive: nothing is administered and nothing breaks the skin. ARC Equine covers it with a two-year warranty.
What is in the box:
- One ARC Equine device
- One charger, US
- One leg strap
- One leg strap liner
- One 250 ml bottle of ARC conductive gel
- One pair of carbon rubber pads
- User manual, US
Specifications:
- Four automated programs
- Two-button operation
- Three-hour treatment period
- Rechargeable high-capacity battery
- Carbon rubber electrode pads
- Leg-mounted with strap and liner
- Drug-free and non-invasive
- Two-year warranty
Consumables:
The electrode pads, conductive gel, leg strap and strap liner all wear out or run down in time. The kit arrives with one of each, so nothing needs buying on day one.
Read the manual before first use.
The kit includes a US user manual carrying the manufacturer's safety information, placement instructions and contraindications. Read it before putting the device on a horse.
Why it is here:
The manual carries the contraindications, and the device administers nothing and breaks no skin. A piece of equipment that publishes when it should not be used is one a rider can use correctly, and on a device strapped to a leg for three hours that matters before anything else does.
Veterinary notice:
This device is not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis, treatment or advice. Canter & Crest makes no representation, express or implied, about what this device does or does not do, and does not warrant or confirm any representation made by the manufacturer. If your horse is lame, injured, or showing any sign of pain or illness, call your veterinarian.
