A short sleeve riding top with a concealed neckline, a double-lined front and mesh side panels, in white.
Two construction details do the work here. The front is double lined, which is why this is offered in white at all: a single-layer white knit shows everything underneath it, and doubling the front panel is the fix. And the side panels are mesh rather than solid, so the ventilation sits under the arm and down the ribs. The neckline is concealed, meaning there is no visible closure or seam at the throat to show under a coat. The fabric is 84 percent polyester and 16 percent spandex, moisture wicking, and the fox logo sits at the nape rather than on the chest.
Specifications:
- 84% polyester, 16% spandex
- Double-lined front panel
- Mesh side panels
- Concealed neckline
- Moisture wicking
- Logo at the nape of the neck
- Sun protection rated by The Proper Fox as SPF 50++
- Color: White
- Sizes XS through XL
Fit:
Sizes XS to XL, cut slim. The Proper Fox recommends sizing up for a looser fit.
A note on the sun rating.
The Proper Fox states SPF 50++ for this fabric. Sun protection in a garment is normally expressed as UPF rather than SPF, which is the scale used for sunscreen, so this figure is not directly comparable to a UPF rating. Confirm with the maker if a rated sun garment is specifically what you need.
What sets this one apart:
The front panel is double lined, so a single layer of white knit is not all that stands between the rider and daylight. The side panels are mesh rather than solid, putting the ventilation under the arm and down the ribs, and the neckline is concealed so no closure or seam shows at the throat.
Why it is here:
A double-lined front on a white riding top. Lining the front panel adds fabric rather than a coating or a treatment, and it is what makes a white knit opaque.
