Cavallo's turnout and layup boot, built for traction and for keeping mud out.
The Trek gives traction while still allowing the hoof wall to expand and contract. An inside rim relieves the sole, frog and bars rather than pressing on them. Wide Velcro closures keep the boot on the foot, and the tread is built so mud and debris pack in less than they otherwise would. It is made for trailering, turnout and layup from injury rather than for work under saddle.

Three sit in this collection. This Trek is the turnout and layup boot. The Sport Regular Sole is the riding boot for a rounder hoof. The Sport Slim Sole is that same riding boot a quarter inch narrower.
Why it is here:
The inside rim. A boot that presses on the frog and bars during a long layup undoes the rest it was bought to provide. Relieving those structures while still giving traction is the specific problem this boot solves.
