An anatomic dressage bridle with Comfort Gel padding, cut plain.

The crown and noseband are ergonomically cut and curved rather than straight, which moves the leather off the sensitive ground behind the ears and across the nasal bone. Comfort Gel padding sits in the pressure areas. The browband is 5/8 of an inch, curved and padded, with no stone work, and the noseband is a 1 3/8 inch padded crank with a removable flash. This is the restrained one in the anatomic line.

This bridle is sold without reins. Reins are not standard across every bridle, so it is the first thing to check when comparing prices.

Munich or Dortmund:

Same anatomic crown, same Comfort Gel padding, and neither includes reins. The Dortmund is the plain one: a 5/8 inch browband and a 1 3/8 inch noseband. The Munich is wider and dressed, at 7/8 of an inch on the browband with rose gold crystals, a 1½ inch tapered crank, and rose gold fittings throughout. If the horse's head is fine or the ring is conservative, the Dortmund is the correct one.

Care:

Wipe clean after use. Clean with conditioner or saddle soap as needed.

Why it is here:

A narrow browband on an anatomic crown. A 5/8 inch browband and a 1 3/8 inch noseband suit a finer head, and there is no stone work on it.
