A long softshell winter coat cut for riding, with gussets that let the shoulders and back move.

Equine Couture builds the Noelle from 100 percent polyester softshell, which keeps it light for the warmth it gives. The detail that separates it from a general winter coat is the movement engineering: zip gussets in the sleeves and back open up range of motion, and thumb holes hold the sleeve down when the arm extends. The zipper is a double-slider coil, so the coat can be opened from the bottom to sit in the saddle. Reflector tape handles low light, and white thread embroidery finishes it.

Why it is here:

A double-slider zipper is the difference between a long coat you can ride in and a long coat you take off at the mounting block. Add zip gussets at the back and the coat stops fighting the position, which is the whole reason to buy riding outerwear instead of a coat from anywhere else.
