A sheepskin half pad with a channel spine, without the shim system.
Premium sheepskin over a channel spine, which keeps the pad clear of the horse's back down the center line. That is the point at which a half pad either helps or does harm: sheepskin compresses under a saddle, and without a channel the compressed material presses straight down onto the spine. This is the plain version, for a saddle that already fits.
