A five point breastplate with real sheepskin pads at the shoulders and elastic in a color matched to the leather. Snaps at both ends attach it to the saddle and to the girth, and a running attachment is included.

The defining specification is the number of contact points. This design holds at the shoulders as well as at the wither and the girth, and that layout holds the girth further forward so that it cannot slide back, spreading the load of the breastplate over a larger area than a design with only a couple of points of contact. The elastic is double layered. Real sheepskin sits at the shoulders, where the straps cross the part of the horse that moves most under them, and the stitching runs at ten to twelve stitches per inch in heavy duty cotton thread.
