A leather lead with a chain, in two lengths and two colors.

Supple pre-conditioned leather, which means it arrives usable rather than stiff. The chain can be run over the nose for extra control or clipped under the chin when it is not needed, so one lead covers a quiet horse and a fresh one. It is finished well enough for in-hand and leadline classes and built to survive daily use.

On the chain:

Over the nose it is a control aid, not a correction, and it should never be used to jerk. Under the chin it is out of the way. A horse that leads politely does not need it over the nose at all.
