A backpack with a dedicated ventilated helmet compartment, so the helmet travels protected and dries out.

The ventilation is the feature worth paying for. A helmet goes into a bag damp after a class, and a sealed compartment keeps it damp, which degrades the harness padding and leaves the shell smelling. This one has vented areas built into the helmet compartment specifically to prevent moisture building up. The compartment itself is dedicated and shaped, so the shell is not resting against zips or buckles that scratch it. Around it sit multiple storage pockets for gloves, a phone and the small things that otherwise end up loose in the bottom of a tack bag. The outer fabric is water-resistant.

Care:

Wipe the outer surface with a damp cloth and mild soap. Use a soft-bristle brush on harder marks. Avoid harsh chemicals, and dry it naturally away from direct heat or sunlight so the color holds.
