This is the outer garment only. The airbag is not included and is purchased separately. Worn on its own, this vest provides no impact protection.
The H Vest by Lotus Romeo is one half of a two-part system. The other half is a Zip'In 2 airbag, sold as its own product. The garment is the shell that carries the airbag and conceals it; the airbag is what inflates.
Lotus Romeo builds the H Vest from recycled PES and elastane in a technical fabric that holds its shape after repeated inflations and resists wrinkling. A four-way stretch system lets it fit a range of body types. The front closure is an ultra-lightweight silver zipper.

- Not included: the Zip'In 2 airbag, the CO2 cartridge, the lanyard, and the saddle strap
Safety:
Only a jacket, vest or blouson carrying the Zip'In label works with a Helite airbag. Helite states that this label is sewn inside the garment rather than printed on a hang tag, so it can still be checked on a garment that has already been worn. A Zip'In airbag worn under a garment without it will not sit correctly, will not inflate as intended, and will not protect the rider.
