The Dynamic RS mouthpiece on fixed eggbutt cheeks, in Sensogan.
Herm Sprenger angles the center link forward by 45 degrees so pressure spreads across the tongue while pressure points on the palate are reduced. The eggbutt cheeks are fixed, which gives steady contact and direct rein aids and stops the bit sliding through the mouth. It is a strong choice for a sensitive horse or one with a fleshy tongue, where a mobile bit is unsettling rather than inviting. Sensogan encourages salivation and acceptance.
Specifications:
- Dynamic RS double-jointed mouthpiece, 45° forward-angled center link
- Sensogan
- Fixed eggbutt cheeks
- Even pressure across the tongue, reduced palate contact
- 5 inch, 14 mm
Eggbutt or loose ring:
The mouthpiece is the same as the Dynamic RS loose ring. An eggbutt holds still and suits a horse that wants stability. A loose ring moves and suits a horse that wants a mobile contact. The cheek answers a different question than the mouthpiece does.
Why it is here:
A mouthpiece angled to reduce palate contact, on a cheek that holds still. That pairing answers the horse with a fleshy tongue, where a mobile bit is unsettling rather than inviting.
