The KK Ultra mouthpiece as a bradoon at 14 mm, the thicker of the two thicknesses offered.
The KK Ultra center link is shortened and angled forward by 45 degrees so it rests on the tongue rather than pressing into the palate, which is what makes the rein aid clearer without making it sharper. Sensogan encourages salivation and acceptance. It is built for the snaffle rein of a double bridle.
Specifications:
- 14 mm KK Ultra double-jointed bradoon
- Shortened center link angled forward 45°
- Sensogan
- For the snaffle rein of a double bridle
- Sizes 5 1/4 and 5 3/4 inches
14 mm or 12 mm:
The design is identical; only the mouthpiece thickness differs. The 14 mm spreads pressure over more surface and is the milder option where the mouth has room for it. The 12 mm is the choice for a shallow mouth or a fleshy tongue, where a double bridle already leaves little space.
Why it is here:
The same KK Ultra bradoon is offered at two mouthpiece thicknesses, so thickness is a decision rather than a default. This is the 14 mm, which spreads pressure over more surface than the 12 mm.
