The stitch pattern is the point. Fancy stitching is the decorative seam used on a raised bridle noseband and browband, and putting it on a belt is a quiet piece of equestrian shorthand: it reads to anyone who knows tack and reads as a well-made belt to anyone who does not. Full-grain leather, which is the outer layer of the hide with the grain intact and the layer that takes a polish and ages rather than cracks. A stainless steel buckle.

Fit:
Four sizes. A belt worn over breeches sits differently from one worn over jeans, so if it is going to do both, size to the looser of the two.
Where it works:
Over breeches in the ring and over denim outside it. Fancy stitching is subtle enough that the belt does not announce itself off the property.
Why it is here:
Full grain and a stainless buckle. Full-grain leather is the outer layer of the hide with the grain intact, and stainless does not pit the way a plated buckle does.
