A thick barrier grease for cross-country day, applied to the front of the legs and washed off afterward.
Leg grease works by reducing friction, so a leg that meets a solid fence slides over it rather than catching. It is applied before cross-country and removed after, and this formulation is made to come off easily, which is the part riders complain about with a grease that will not wash out. One kilogram is a season rather than a day.

Application:
Apply to the front of the fore and hind legs before the cross-country phase. Wash off after competing. Check your competition's rules on permitted substances before use.
Why it is here:
Easy removal is the specification. A grease that stays on for three days is a grease that traps dirt against the leg, and the horse pays for that long after the event is over.
