A men's quilted jacket with H-shaped lining seams and a high collar.

The shell is 78% polyamide with 22% elastane, which is a stretch content closer to a technical garment than to a coat. It is quilted through a 100% polyester lining and fill, with the seams run in an H pattern rather than straight channels. The collar is high, the front zip is tone-on-tone, and the cuffs and hem are ribbed so the jacket closes at the wrists and the waist. Two front pockets fasten with silver buttons and there is a zip pocket inside.

What sets this one apart:

The shell runs 22% elastane and is quilted through a polyester lining with the seams in an H pattern rather than straight channels. The collar is high, the front zip is tone-on-tone, and ribbed cuffs and hem close the jacket at the wrist and the waist. It is outerwear rather than a competition coat, with two buttoned front pockets and an interior zip pocket.

Why it is here:

Twenty-two percent elastane in a quilted jacket is the difference between a coat a rider can mount in and one that comes off at the block. Ribbed cuffs and hem are the second reason, because a barn jacket that lets air up the back is a jacket left in the truck.
