A close-fitting riding glove with a perforated mesh back, for maximum airflow across the hand.
The fit is the same second-skin cut as the Lettia Shield, which is what preserves touch sensation on the rein. What changes here is the back of the hand: perforated mesh rather than solid fabric, with Lycra reinforcements where the glove needs to hold its shape. A Velcro wrist closes it.

Shield or Shield Mesh:
The Shield and the Shield Mesh differ at the back of the hand. The Shield is the lightweight breathable pull-on with touchscreen fingertips. The Shield Mesh adds a perforated mesh back and a Velcro wrist, for hotter weather and a wrist that wants adjustment.
Why it is here:
Ventilating the back of the hand is common. Doing it without losing the close fit that gives feel on the rein is the harder build, and feel is what a thin glove is bought for.
