A button-down shirt in 100% French linen, cut to wear over breeches or over denim.

The fabric is 100% French linen with nothing blended into it. BellEq states the linen is naturally temperature-regulating and that it softens with each wear and wash while holding its shape. It is made in the USA. The cut is a classic button-down rather than a technical riding shirt.

What this is not:

This is not a competition shirt and not a sun shirt. It carries no UPF rating, no wicking treatment and no stretch. Linen creases, which is the nature of the fiber rather than a fault in the garment.

Why it is here:

Nothing is blended into the linen. A blend is what makes a linen shirt hold a press, and it is also what takes away the thing linen is bought for, which is a fiber that moves air on its own.
