It is a day sheet, for travel, for a stable and for keeping a coat clean between classes, and it is the wrong garment to leave a horse standing in weather in. The lining is polycotton, the binding is soft webbing rather than a hard edge, and there is faux sheepskin both inside and out. A leg strap holds it in place.
