A BETA 2018 Level 3 body protector built to be worn rather than tolerated.
Racesafe builds the Motion3 in the United Kingdom. It is certified to BETA 2018 Level 3 and EN13158:2018, the European standards for equestrian body protection. The shell is MotionGuard multi-foam divided into more than 120 individually hinged segments, so the protector flexes at the waist and shoulder instead of resisting them. The outer is a breathable mesh over a technical net lining, which is the part that decides whether a Level 3 protector is wearable through a July schooling session. It can be worn on its own or layered under a Helite airbag vest.
Specifications:
- Certified to BETA 2018 Level 3 and EN13158:2018
- MotionGuard multi-foam, 120+ individually hinged segments
- Breathable mesh outer with technical net lining
- Soft inner layer, lightweight outer shell
- Compatible with Helite Hybrid airbag vests
- Made in the UK by Racesafe
Fit:
Sizing is unisex and set in three parts rather than one.
- Size: Young Rider XS through XL, Adult XS through XL
- Front length: Standard or Tall
- Back length: Short, Regular, Long, or Extra Long
Front and back length are chosen independently, so torso length can be matched without giving up coverage. Measure before ordering.
Why it is here:
Front length and back length are ordered separately. A body protector only covers what it is sitting over, and a torso that needs a long back with a standard front has to be fitted in two measurements rather than one, which is the difference between a protector a rider wears and one that is left in the trailer.
