Pittards is an English tannery and Oil-Tac is their treatment for grip: polymers are worked into the structure of the hide rather than coated onto the surface, so the tack comes from inside the leather and does not wear off the way a surface finish does. It is combined with Pittards' WR100X process, which gives resistance to water and perspiration and keeps the hide supple rather than letting sweat dry it hard. The lining is Copper Tech, a copper-infused stretch fabric that compresses lightly and expands and contracts to the hand.
