Ovation describes it as ultra grippy, and it is the finish chosen where a rider wants the saddle to hold rather than to slide, in place of the harder-wearing printed surface. Underneath it is Bayflex panels on an adjustable medium tree, with a Velcro triangle knee block and a Velcro thigh block, both movable.
