A full seat breech gripped with segmented perforated leather rather than silicone, in a year-round microfiber.

Perforated leather is what this breech is for. The full seat is built from segmented leather panels: real leather for grip and durability, cut into segments so the seat flexes with the rider instead of behaving as one stiff sheet, and perforated so it breathes rather than sealing heat against the skin. That combination is FITS's patented PerforMAX construction. The fabric is an all-season microfiber with light compression, meant to wick in heat and insulate in cold. The gusset is seam-free and carries no leather, so nothing stiff sits where the leg meets the saddle. A power mesh abdominal panel runs across the front, and there are two cargo pockets sized for a phone.

Fit:

Sizes XS to XXL. This is a pull-on breech, so there is no zip or button at the front; the light compression in the fabric is what holds it. Riders who have not worn a pull-on before should expect it to feel closer through the hip than a zip-front.

What sets this one apart:

The full seat is real leather, cut into segments so it flexes with the rider and perforated so it breathes. Leather grips harder and lasts longer than a printed silicone tread, and it asks to be cared for: it should not be machine dried, and it stiffens if it is repeatedly soaked and left. Around it sits an all-season microfiber with light compression, a seam-free gusset carrying no leather, a power mesh abdominal panel and two cargo pockets sized for a phone.

Why it is here:

Perforated leather. A solid leather full seat is the traditional answer and it is also the hottest garment a dressage rider owns, because leather does not breathe. Punching it and segmenting it is a harder way to build the panel and it is the only one that addresses the actual complaint.
