This is the outer garment only. The airbag is not included and is purchased separately. Worn on its own, this vest provides no impact protection.
The Prestige was among Helite's first airbag-compatible riding garments. It is a sleeveless softshell built to withstand the pressure of inflation and return to its original shape without deforming. With one zip it closes over a Zip-In air vest, which then disappears completely. It suits jumping, show jumping, dressage, hunter, training and hacking.
What is included, and what is not:
- Included: the Prestige riding vest
- Not included: the Zip-In airbag, the CO2 cartridge, the lanyard and the saddle strap
Specifications:
- Outer garment only, no airbag included
- Compatible with Helite Zip'In 2 airbags
- Sleeveless softshell
- Rib trim at hips and collar
- Embroidered logo at chest and back
- Highly resistant seams
- Self-locking zipper
- Weight: 350 g
- Blue and black with white line, blue and red with white line
- Unisex
Safety:
Only a jacket, vest or blouson carrying the Zip'In label works with a Helite airbag. Helite states that this label is sewn inside the garment rather than printed on a hang tag, so it can still be checked on a garment that has already been worn. An airbag worn under a garment without it will not sit correctly and will not inflate as intended.
What sets this one apart:
This is the outer garment on its own, a sleeveless softshell with rib trim at the hips and collar and an embroidered logo at chest and back. The seams are highly resistant and the zipper is self-locking, at a weight of 350 g.
Why it is here:
A softshell that returns to shape after an inflation is doing something an ordinary vest cannot. This is the everyday version of the system, for a rider who wants the airbag on for schooling rather than only for competition.
