A rain coat rated waterproof to 15,000 mm, cut above the knee, with adjustable elastics to hold it in place in the saddle.

Fifteen thousand millimeters is the number to read, and it is a genuine rain rating rather than a water-repellent finish. The construction follows it: a waterproof zip behind a flap closed with press buttons, so there is no seam for water to run through at the front. Two elastics adjust at the knees to keep the coat where it is put, and a zip at the back releases so it sits over a saddle. Two front pockets close under flaps.
