A scalloped flash bridle with fine fancy stitching, and every strap width published.
The browband and noseband are scalloped and finished in fine fancy stitch, the detailed version of contrast stitching rather than a single line. Both are softly padded beneath the shaping, which is what a scalloped edge needs if it is not to press. The crown is traditional, the hardware stainless steel, and bridle hooks fasten it at the bit. Non-slip rubber-lined reins are included.
Specifications:
- Scalloped browband and noseband
- Fine fancy stitch detailing
- Softly padded browband and noseband
- Traditional crown
- Flash
- Stainless steel buckles and bridle hooks
- Non-slip rubber-lined reins included
- Sizes Cob, Full (Horse) and Oversize
Strap widths, as published by Grewal:
- Browband: 1 in to 1 1/2 in
- Crown: 1 in
- Noseband: 1 in to 2 in
- Cheek: 2/3 in
- Flash: 1/2 in
- Reins: 2/3 in
Fit:
The straight browband length varies by roughly 5 to 8 mm. Measure the bridle currently in use rather than ordering by breed or height, and check the browband first: it is the one piece that cannot be let out, and a scalloped browband gives less than a straight one.
Shadow Creek or Vogue:
The Shadow Creek is the scalloped bridle with fine fancy stitching and a flash. The Vogue is the plain scalloped snaffle with no flash. The flash is the difference between them.
Reins included:
Non-slip reins with a rubber-lined grip.
Why it is here:
Published strap widths. A rider replacing a bridle can check the numbers against what is already on the horse before ordering, which adjectives alone do not allow.
