A square raised hunter bridle with a padded inlaid crown.
The inlaid crown is what separates this one. Rather than a plain strap over the poll, the crown is inlaid and padded, which spreads pressure and gives the bridle a streamlined line behind the ears. Browband and noseband are padded and finished with contrast stitching. Grewal states the leather needs very little breaking in. Stainless steel stud hooks attach the reins and the cheekpieces to the bit, and laced reins with matching detail are included.

What sets this one apart:
The crown is inlaid and padded rather than a plain strap laid over the poll, which spreads pressure and keeps a streamlined line behind the ears. The profile is square raised, meaning the leather is built up from a flat base and holds a defined edge rather than a rolled curve. Stud hooks attach the reins and cheekpieces to the bit, and the leather is stated to need very little breaking in.
Fit:
Standard bridle measurements vary by a quarter to a half inch, so measure the bridle currently in use rather than ordering by breed or height. Check the browband first: it is the one piece that cannot be let out, and a short browband pulls the crown into the base of the ears.
Reins included:
Laced, with matching detail. Stud hooks rather than buckles mean the reins and cheekpieces come off the bit quickly, which matters when a bit is being swapped or cleaned.
Why it is here:
The inlaid crown. It is padded and set into the strap rather than laid over the poll, which spreads pressure behind the ears.
