Fifty-five percent cotton against forty-five percent polyester is what makes this one breathe and still hold its shape. The lining is waffle cotton, a textured weave that lifts the fabric off the back so it dries rather than staying damp. The fill is polyester, with no animal product in it. The pad is cut untucked and held under the saddle by girth loops, and a leather patch at the withers carries the maker's mark.
