A half zip funnel neck in a perforated Japanese technical fabric, closed with a Swiss RiRi zipper. Made in Los Angeles.
Two components are named here and both are worth knowing. The fabric is a perforated technical blend sourced from Japan, 93 percent polyester and 7 percent elastane, with the perforation built into the structure rather than punched after the fact, so ventilation works across the whole garment and adapts to how hard the wearer is working. The zipper is a RiRi, a Swiss maker, and on a half zip the zipper is the component that takes the most use. Naming it is a claim that can be checked. The cut is a funnel neck with a slightly cropped hem, and CALLIDAE states it fits true to size.
Specifications:
- 93% polyester, 7% elastane
- Perforated Japanese technical fabric with integrated micro-ventilation
- RiRi half zip closure
- Funnel neck
- Slightly cropped hemline
- Made in Los Angeles
- Black, Sage, White and Cocoa
- Sizes XS through XL
- Care: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, hang to dry
Fit:
Sizes XS to XL, true to size per CALLIDAE. The hem is cut slightly cropped, so it sits above the waistband of a high rise breech rather than tucking. The run starts at XS, so order accordingly if you usually take a smaller size.
Care matters on this one.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang to dry. CALLIDAE asks specifically that it not be tumble dried, to protect the RiRi zipper and the elasticity of the fabric. That is the trade for naming a good zipper: heat is what kills one.
What sets this one apart:
A perforated Japanese technical blend, 93 percent polyester and 7 percent elastane, with the ventilation built into the structure of the fabric rather than punched in afterward. The half zip is a Swiss RiRi, the neck is a funnel, and the hem is cut slightly cropped.
Why it is here:
A named zipper and a named fabric source. CALLIDAE puts RiRi and a Japanese mill on the page, which are claims a buyer can check.
