A high-waisted knee grip breech in a four-way stretch fabric with a published composition, made in Los Angeles.
Eighty-two percent polyamide, twelve percent micro polyamide and six percent elastane. That composition is the reason to look, and not only because it is stated: micro polyamide is a finer filament than standard polyamide, and blending the two is what gives this fabric a denser hand without added weight. Six percent elastane is a conservative figure, which is a choice in favor of recovery over give. The waist is cut high. Grip runs on the inside of the knees rather than across the seat, so the leg is stabilized while the seat stays unrestricted coming out of the saddle.
Specifications:
- 82% polyamide, 12% micro polyamide, 6% elastane
- Four-way stretch
- High waist
- Grip on the inside of the knees
- Made in Los Angeles
- Cognac, Tumbleweed, Navy and Black
- Sizes 24 through 34
Fit:
Sizes 24 to 34 in even numbers, measured at the waist rather than taken as a dress size, which is the finer of the two systems. There is no long or short length option. The run starts at 24, so a waist under that will not be covered.
What sets this one apart:
A published fabric composition, eighty-two percent polyamide, twelve percent micro polyamide and six percent elastane, blended from two filament weights for a denser hand at four-way stretch. The waist is cut high, the grip runs on the inside of the knees, and the breech is made in Los Angeles in a size run measured at the waist rather than in letters.
Why it is here:
A published composition on a breech, and a fabric blended from two filament weights rather than one. Los Angeles manufacture is the second reason.
