The fabric is a water-resistant performance woven with a matte finish and a soft hand. Drawcords with cord stops sit at both the hood and the hem, so the jacket can be closed down against wind at the two points that let it in. Pockets close on hidden snaps rather than visible zips, and CALLIDAE embroidery sits on the back yoke. The front zip is a novelty closure rather than a standard pull.

Fit:

Sizes XS to XL. CALLIDAE describes it as wearable over warmer base layers in cold weather and on its own in mild spring and autumn conditions, so it is cut with layering room rather than close. Two of the three colorways are navy and differ only in the zipper, white or navy.

Water resistant is not waterproof.

Stated plainly because the distinction decides whether this is the right jacket. It handles spray, a shower and a damp ride. CALLIDAE does not claim a waterproof rating for it, so a rider who needs a garment rated to keep out sustained rain should look for a stated waterproof rating instead.
