Bonding is the construction: two of CALLIDAE's UPF 50 technical knits joined face to face into a single fabric, which produces a shirt with more body than either knit alone. That body is what holds a shape through a cold morning. It is still comfortable worn against the skin, but CALLIDAE's own recommendation is to size up and wear it over a lightweight base layer, which is the honest way to use it.

Fit: size up if you intend to layer.

Sizes XXS to XL. CALLIDAE recommends sizing up to wear this over a lightweight base layer. Taken at your usual size it works on its own; taken a size up it becomes the mid layer. Decide which of those you are buying before you choose the size, because the two answers are different.
