This is not a rated body protector. It offers padding, not certified impact protection, and it does not meet BETA or EN 13158 standards. Where a rulebook or a discipline requires a certified vest, this is not that vest.

The Contour Air Mesh is a padded back protector built for casual riders and for hunter and jumper riders who want coverage without a rated vest's bulk. Four layers of padding run from the neck down to the base of the spine. Thinner padding in the front panel keeps it light and flexible. The Air Mesh outer is breathable, moisture-wicking and easy to spot clean.

Specifications:

  • Not a certified or rated body protector
  • Four layers of padding, neck to base of spine
  • Thin front panel padding for flexibility
  • Air Mesh outer, breathable and moisture-wicking
  • Mesh front and back
  • Adjustable hook-and-loop side panels
  • Zipper front
  • Black. Sizes Small through X-Large

If you need a rated vest:

The Racesafe Motion3 in this collection is certified to BETA 2018 Level 3 and EN13158:2018. Cross-country, eventing and most rulebook requirements call for a certified protector rather than a padded one.

Why it is here:

Padding worn is worth more than certification left in the trailer, which is the honest case for a vest like this on a hot schooling day. It is listed as what it is so nobody buys it believing it is what it is not.
