A hanging wardrobe with a copper-lined interior and hunter/jumper embossing, cut short for show coats. Holds up to eight garments.
This is a hanging wardrobe rather than a garment bag, and the difference is what it is built around. The opening is enclosed in leather so a bar of hangers passes through without catching, it runs on double zippers so it can be opened from either end, and it carries double leather handles rather than a single strap, which is what lets it be carried level when it is full. The interior is fully lined in copper. It expands to take up to eight items.
Specifications:
- Standard length
- Dimensions 40 in x 24 in x 4 in
- Weight 2.2 lbs
- Fully lined copper interior
- Double zippers
- Leather-enclosed opening for hanging
- Double leather handles
- Hunter/jumper embossing
- Expands to hold up to 8 garments
What sets this one apart:
This is the standard length at 40 inches, which covers show coats and daily use, and it expands to take up to eight garments at once. The opening is enclosed in leather so a bar of hangers passes through without catching, it opens from either end on double zippers, and double leather handles let it be carried level when it is full. Measure the longest garment you plan to pack before ordering, because anything past 40 inches, a shadbelly or a maxi length or a formal dress, has to be folded.
Why it is here:
Double handles and a leather-enclosed opening. A full garment bag carried on one strap swings and drags on the ground, and the opening is the part that tears first because it is where the hangers pull.
