An insulated winter pant with a herringbone waterproof shell, a bootcut leg and a thigh pocket sized for a phone.

This is the insulated over-trouser without a bib, for a rider who is already wearing a jacket that covers the waist. The shell is a breathable waterproof herringbone with fully taped seams, over a quilted lining carrying 60 grams of insulation. The leg is cut bootcut, which is the shape that sits over a tall boot rather than bunching above it, and leg zips let the pant pull on over boots without taking them off. It closes on a zip and a snap, and an elastic cinch at the back waistband takes up slack without a belt. There is a thigh pocket that fits a phone.

Specifications:

  • Breathable waterproof herringbone shell with fully taped seams
  • Quilted lining with 60 grams of insulation
  • Bootcut leg shape
  • Leg zips for pulling on over boots
  • Zipper and snap closure
  • Elastic cinch at the back waistband
  • Secure pockets including a thigh pocket that fits a phone
  • Sized to layer over riding breeches or jeans
  • Caviar
  • Sizes XXS through XXL

Fit:

Sizes XXS to XXL, one length only. Sized to layer over breeches or jeans, so take your usual size.

What sets this one apart:

The shell is a herringbone weave rather than a plain one, breathable and waterproof with fully taped seams over 60 grams of quilted insulation. The leg is bootcut, the shape that sits over a tall boot rather than bunching above it, and leg zips let it pull on over boots. It stops at the waist, closing on a zip and a snap with an elastic cinch at the back waistband, and there is a thigh pocket sized for a phone.

Why it is here:

A bootcut leg on a waterproof over-trouser. A straight cut catches on the top of a tall boot and rides up, and a rider spends the winter pulling it down.
