An insulated riding jacket with a double-ended zipper, a back zip that opens for the saddle, and a hood that fits over a helmet. In Blue Nights.

Three zips do the work, and they are the reason this is a riding jacket rather than a winter coat. The front zipper is double ended, so it opens from the bottom and the jacket sits over the thigh instead of pulling across the hip when mounted. The back zipper opens to give flexibility when sitting in the tack and closes for warmth when not. And the hood is oversized and adjustable to go over a riding helmet, with a visor that flips backward and holds on a magnet to convert it to an ordinary hood. Underneath it is a breathable waterproof shell with fully taped seams over a quilted lining carrying 60 grams of insulation. A high fleece funnel collar closes the neck, fleece cuffs carry thumbholes, and interior backpack straps hold the top up when the sleeves come off.

Sizes XXS to XXL, Regular length only. Sized to layer over a standard riding outfit, so take your usual size. REDINGOTE's fit reference: a 5 foot 6 rider wears an XS. There is no Tall or Short length in this jacket.
