A zip-up leather paddock boot with a punched toe cap, in regular and wide.
Grewal describes this as the boot riders begin in and the boot professionals wear daily to save their tall boots. Top-grain leather, easy to break in, on a durable sole with a moisture-wicking lining. Elasticized gussets sit either side of the zip so the boot flexes with the ankle rather than gapping. The punched toe cap is what keeps it from reading as a work boot. Heavy-duty YKK zippers.

Grewal offers this boot in two closures, in the same leather with the same toe cap. The Zip-Up goes on in a second and stays adjusted; the zip is the part that eventually fails. The Lace-Up takes longer to put on, adjusts across the whole instep rather than at one point, and has nothing mechanical to break. The honest split is speed against longevity.
